The Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver Trainer Kit contains 60 cards total, made up of two 30-card half decks… Gyarados and Raichu. Like other trainer sets they contain no rarity symbols. The HGSS Trainer Kit came with the standard kit stuff… a playmat, coin, damage and status counters, booster packs, and a deck box. This kit wasn’t released in Japan.

The HeartGold & SoulSilver set was released in February 2010 and contains 124 cards… 123 in the base set plus 1 secret rare card. The HGSS set features a completely revamped card design… new colors and layout.
